On the occasion of World Population Day 2016, FPAN organized a Workshop entitled- "FP 2020: Progress and Challenges & Maternity Rights” on July 15, 2016 at its Central Office in Lalitpur. Parliamentarians, government officials, representative from UNFPA, USAID and national and international organizations, lawyers, media house, FPAN volunteers; youth and staff were participated in the workshop. Mr. Ghanshyam Paudel, senior public health administrator, Dr. Tirtha Rana, FPAN advisory committee member and Ms. Sunita Regmi, senior advocate presented paper on FP 2020, importance of breast feeding and reproductive right in constitution respectively. The participants stressed on the need to work together for the protection of equal Sexual and Reproductive Health and Maternity Rights without discrimination for every woman in the country. The workshop was chaired by Mr. Manoj Prasad Upreti, General Secretary, Central Committee of FPAN.
