The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Governing Council has decided to honour FPAN for many years of committed and dedicated service to SRHR, and has been awarded the "IPPF MEMBER ASSOCIATION AWARD FOR COLLECTIVE CONTRIBUTION TO SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RIGHTS" for its performance in integrating SRH with environmental and sustainability approaches directly linked to community well-being and recognizing its committed volunteer base and advocacy success including securing IPPF Vision 2020 support.

The award will be officially presented at a dinner to be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday 12th May 2015 as part of the Governing Council meeting and a Gathering of Executive Directors from all IPPF Member Associations across the globe.
